    Taking a Detector overseas

    I've just purchased my first detector, a used Fisher 1280x, with hard case, and want to take it with me next month to Thailand. I am concerned that the detector will cause a problem with security when they find something long and metallic in my luggage, or if I put it through in its hard case...
