    Question for Doc

A couple of months ago, you suggested to repair a crack in the top of an ExII coil, cut some pieces of coil cover, and dissolve it in a________??? I've tried acryl-solv, and acetone, they don't dissolve or melt the bits of coil cover in 30 hours, what am I missing?

    etrex legend

I'm looking at the garmin website, but can't find any pricing. How much does the legend c and cx differ in price, and is there value for the money? Also, I can't find battery time on the cx, but the 36 hours on the c is attractive. I also think compass is good, but not at the expense of 16...

    Me again

I want to do the very same as tomfg, and I did get globalmapper downloaded, but I read and read, and it seems (although I didn't understand a lot of it) to do a lot more than we are looking for. I didn't get to do any playing with the product, because I couldn't seem to connect with the...

    Battery question

I just got a Vanson charger and 8 nimh batteries for the explorer. It says charge 12 to 14 hours. I did, plugged it in, nothing. I took them out, and put them back in the pack carefully to be sure I hadn't turned one around, .. nope. still nothing. I read the side of them and they are 1.2...

    established 1770

is all it says. A search revealed Carvill furniture, Warwick wines, spode pottery, a beer maker, and a scotch maker. Then there was a vague reference to hand tools, a company that made planes, and one that made saws. I think a Gumby or Groves saw? Brass badge a little bigger and thicker than...

    HI...

I posted this on the Whatzit forum, and Gabe suggested I try it here. My question is can the weapon be identified by this triggerguard? Is it complete enough and is it distinctive enough? I have a couple of suggestion so far, looking for input. It measures about six inches the way it is.

    Andrew, can you tell me

What is available in Canada that would allow me to overlay a new map over an old one, adjust the size of one of them, i guess. I have a Garmin 12XL, which I got with that in mind, but haven't achieved it yet. I have a book called GIS for everyone, but after I got into it, I disccovered...
