Couple of parks and more firsts...RING!

Hit the main park yesterday after the towns 50th Anniversary celebration this weekend. Just some change but got my first real ring. Not sure if it's silver, no mark, but it got crumpled trying to did it our of the scorched Arizona ground. It's really hard this time of year until the monsoons...

    Photo Managing Links...

Here's some free software for managing and SIZING photos, especially great for posting under the 120K limit. It's from Microsoft and Google. The sizing download from MS just adds the option to change size when you right click on a photo and get the menu. The managing SWis from Google and is...

    A couple of more firsts...

...from a week ago -- now that I learned to size my pix correctly. Hit two new parks for about 4 hours over 3 days (I have to work, too). Dug all the trash from the play area sand so the next trips will be easier going. Oh, the frisby the stuff is in was a keeper for grandkids, too...

    Excellent post from Art SC...

...and wish he had posted it here, but it's great he posted on a "non-Christian" forum. Witnessing with food for thought! http://www.findmall.com/read.php?52,347543,347543#msg-347543

Gas prices bringout out the piggy banks?

It's amazing how much older the coins in my change have been recently than what I'm digging out of the ground. I've been getting wheaties, nickels from the '40s, and others from the '40s and '50s. Is it possible that robbed piggy banks are a result of higher gas prices? Hm-m-m...

I'm bummed I couldn't go on the forum hunt...

Hope you all had a great time in the Lord -- fellowshipping and breaking bread. From the posts I've read it must have been wonderful -- and the finds were just frosting on the cake. Maybe when I retire and have more vacation time... So I stayed home and found a SMALL neighborhood park that has...

    Aloha! from Maui...

Whoa! is the place cool or what! Wish I had a digital camera to show you. Our view from the condo overlooks the golf course and the resorts and right out over the ocean. We face west so we can see the sunsets from the lanai (patio). Enjoying God's creations for sure. Had a cardinal land on...

    My First Week...was Great!

Well, after a week I'm definately hooked. Nothing big, but the learning was good. No jewelry yet, except a broken piece of a childs metal necklace pendant -- play stuff, but it had a "signature." Besides some pull tabs, rusty nails, chewing gum foil (now that's old) and a 1/2" brass elbow...
