    need some advice about threshold on my Excalibur

    Just returned from a real junk filled sandy strip on the northern neck. I read the manual and feel I understand about the threshold tone reacting to a ignored signal,returning at a different tone similar to the ignored object. What I cant figure out is when the threshold disappears and returns...
