    British Virgin Islands

    I usually have a slight threshold on my machine when I detect. A friend of mine hunts in silent. I tried doing that and have stuck with it. My question is do you think that I am missing anything by hunting that way? I can always look at the cursor to make sure that I am not missing anything...

    I know .375 is 9 karat gold but--------

    Does anyone know what 316 is? I found a ring that is stamped 316L on the inside. It looks like white gold and has a very thin line of gold around the middle of it. What do you do to find out the different carats of gold in decimal form?
