    First day out this year.

    Well I finally hit a favorite site today. An old foundation in the middle of a farm field from 1804. Some fun finds but disappointing at the same time. Coin 1 is a Coronet type large cent.     Here are some close ups of the coins and buttons you wanted to see. That poor 1808 had crud on the back. Look up the 1784 New York half penny in the Red Book. I was told by a dealer that all known examples are counterfeit and stamped unevenly to look as if they had normal wear. I need a better...

    Can anyone please help I.D. some of these buttons?

    I know extremely little about buttons. I posted this picture on another forum but nobody said anything about the buttons. I would appreciate any help. All of these items came from a hot spot on a huge piece of farm land. My best site ever! Hope I get another one someday. Thanks. Nick
