    need ID help with Eagle piece

    found these yesterday at an old house occupied by union troops off and on during the war. I have no idea what the eagle piece is. it has 3 of 4 tacks/nails sticking off the back, not sure if they were connected at one time or not. any help is greatly appreciated!

    Found this in an area where we dig colonial artifacts

    this one really has me stumped.......it's greenish and looks like a fingernail. we've pulled quite a few colonial artifacts in the same area, thinking this may be in the same category.

    Old octagonal button found in colonial area

    this flat button is size of a penny.......didn't include the penny for reference so I could expand the pic to show the detail. found this one in an area that was an early colonial settlement. any help identifying is greatly appreciated! happy hunting!

    Need help identifying this item.

    Found this yesterday in an area with colonial and civil war relics.....it has a ball that appears would have been attached to a leather piece or something similar. it's roughly the size of a nickel. thanks for looking!
