    Had a very good day today. My two detecting buddies and I have been hitting this park for some weeks now. Got my walking liberty half at the same park awhile back.     Finally scored a silver quarter (1st for this year). Got out to the beach twice: 1 silver ring, 1st spinner ring, and 3 junk earring studs (they sure look good when you first see them), plus a lot of clad.     Ugly silver and wheat's ...............

    Got out and hit a couple of parks. I used my 6" excelerator coil. Got a 59 quarter, merc (can't read the date), 1963 rosie and 5 wheat's. Three of the wheat's were stuck together and had the pull tab tail in the same hole. I almost didn't dig them. I kept getting a reading of 12-39 and 12-40 but...

    First for me... 1885 silver 10 cent centavo
