    wet sand digging

    OK- How do you keep wet sand from sliding down in and filling your hole when you are near or below the water line? I feel like I'm eating soup with a fork.

    Does anybody have any experience using the Vaquero at the beach? How "wet" can the coil get? Can I go a couple inches into the water? How about a Compadre? Does the lack of manual GB make it to tough?

    Vaquero Disc issues

    Hi- I'm hunting in pretty trashy sites with a Vaquero and so hunt w/disc around the iron/ nickle line and disc out from there. I've got my sens. at about 3 pm and threshold at about 1 pm. Problem is this- I have tabs that don't disc out till 4 pm going clockwise and 3pm going counterclockwise...

    Vaquero disc issue

    Hi - I'm hunting pretty trashy areas. The V finds it all. Struggling because I've got pull tabs discing out at 4PM on the dial going clockwise from my start line around iron and at about about 3 PM going back from max.Barely break up really. GB is good. Threshold around 1 PM and sensitivity...

    DisappearingTones

    Still hunting up here in Western NY. Can somebody explain where a good tone goes? Nice tone- pinpoint it- dig a plug and its gone! Scan the plug- nope and the hole is silent too. Ideas?

    Tot lot challenges

    Any tips for searching around play equip. I have a Vaquero (9x8) which can't get close with any disc and even my Compadre w/ 5 and 3/4" struggles.

    in line filters

    Has anybody tried those filters that attach to the coil wire cable that are supposed to reduce EMI and RFI interference? I do see them on computers etc.
