    Excelerator 5 in. Non Imaging DD Search Coil Question

    Has anyone with a Garrett GTI 2500 tried the Excelerator Non Imaging DD 5 inch search coil and what were results and is it worth the money? I am thinking of purchasing one of these for the beach,is this a good choice for the wet sand and shallow water?

    Garrett GTI 2500

    I took my new Garrett GTI 2500 metal detector to thr beach and had in descriminating jewerly mode .I had very poor luck in the wet sand and wet shallow water.What did I do wrong ,and I was using the 9.5 in. standard coil that came with this unit.Any help would be greatful.
