    2500 mineralization chip upgrade

    Over the past year there has been some talk about a chip upgrade for the older model 2500s on this forum and others, some have said they sent thier machine and had the upgrade done. Yesterday, I called the Garrett tech. support number to get the details so I could send my 2500 in for the chip...

    2500 in hot soil

    Recently returned from a hunt in northern va. had a few nice finds but the ground mineralization made for some long days, tried manual and fast track ground balance neither seemed to help. My 2500 is stock, no mineralization chip or dd coil, does anyone know if either or both of these would help...
