    Old baseball field keeps giving

    I went back this afternoon too the old baseball field where I found the 1906 Barber dime. I used my home-built Bandido with a 10" concentric coil and listened for the slightest sounds. It does pay off to go slow and overlap a lot. I found a 1917 Merc at 8". The only thing I had to measure...

    First silver of the year...

    ...and it's a 1906 Barber dime. This is only the second Barber dime I have ever found and the only one that had a readable date. Found about 7" down at an old baseball field with my homemade Bandido with 10" coil. Not much else found but that's enough. Merc

    Unidentified Coin
