    Pennies $$$

Hi everybody, So this is what I heard on ABC radio while driving to work. Pennies minted before 1982 (that contain more copper than pennies minted after '82) are worth MORE. Makes sense. In other words, $100.00 in pennies is worth $176.00 if the were minted before 1982. Also, congress is...

    My AT Up-Grade Report!

Spent a week on vacation with the the up-graded AT pro. First of all, Garrett worked with me to get it back BEFORE we left. I paid a few extra dollars for quicker delivery. Garrett put a rush on the repairs so I'd have it on time. Secondly, the AT worked great... I found several clad coins and...

What's the little 'J' hook for?

Got the AT back from Garrett today. It appears to work GREAT! I'm going to give it a run for it's money this weekend. There is a little 1/2 " J shaped hook that was enclosed as part of the hardware in the up-grade package. Does anyone know what it's for?

WATER between the LCD and faceplate?

I was hunting on a sports field last night. The grass had just been cut so I picked up a lot of grass and dirt. I went home and hosed off the coil and control box. I was using a waterproof headphone jack. I took it in the house and noticed water between the faceplate and LCD. I turned it on an...

    Dear Charles and Vaughn Garrett

I' am really enjoying my AT pro detector. It does what it claims to do and has made hunting faster and more fun. I am digging less trash and more coins. At this point, I see myself using the AT for a long while. If I was on your design team here's what I'd suggest to be improved for the next...

The AT Pro is, by far, the BEST metal detector on the market!

This machine does four things really well: 1. The depth the AT is able to reach is amazing. 8"-12" wow! 2. The audio discrimination (esp. with the iron audio) is second to none. 3. I am digging far less crapola and more good targets. 4. It's relatively easy to operate. I am having a blast...

    Hey John-Edmonton -- You're right!

The At pro will fit into the standard bag! BUT there's in definite sequence to getting it in there and it's snug. Adjust the At to it's shortest configuration. Flatten the coil so the long end is pointing toward the control box. Load the control box into the end of the bag that has the zippered...

Hi everyone, So, I took delivery on a new AT Pro last month and I been out twice for a couple hours each time. Lower AT Pro Rod -- ???????

It's about 9 days till I take delivery on the AT Pro. It's still raining out here in the Pacific Northwest but since the pro is waterproof-- no worries. Do any of you folks use the rod stabilizer sold on one of the big auction sites? Is it worth the $$ or necessary? What do you know?

    Does anyone from Garrett.....?

comment on this forum? Like Charles or Vaughn or one of their customer service folks? They sure are helpful when you call the factory. One of their engineers is in their instruction DVD for the Infinium L/S.
