RNB Pwr-Nox USB Power Pack for Minelab Manticore / Equinox Now you can hunt all weekend on a single charge. Never be out

I just use one of those single cell USB ones that are about the size of a roll of nickels. Weighs about 2 ounces and gives a few hours for each one. You can buy them for well under 10 bucks.

    Equinox owners?

The Manticore lets you hunt IN the iron! Example: I am hunting next the concrete wall with rebar in it. the coins jump out of the underlying iron tone and also show up on the 2D. I pulled 20 coins and a silver wedding band from a beach that I hunted out all along the wall. Iron no longer...

Gone Back To A NEW Nox 800.

The Manticore is definitely better in heavy iron than my 800. Target separation is more pronounced, and the 2D screen is a real help in multiple target environments. If you are searching in a low trash area, then the 800 is fine. Manticore is also waterproof down to 15 feet

    Equinox 800 on silver

Not normally. The mix of frees helps to get greater depth in various conditions. I would not use the gold program as that skews frees towards low conductors

Manticore is super sensitive- 3 different Percussion caps

Searching plowed fields in Germany over the last couple of days and I am amazed at the ability of the Manticore to pick up small pieces of metal. Found these three different caps at several inches. Tough to pinpoint with my pinpointed though.

I have not had it out yet, but they fixed and shipped (including new AA holder) for about 80 bucks. Now I have 2 of them since there is no better pointer!

Manticore owners: Do i need 1?

The Manticore is really great in Iron areas. I just finished hunting an are at a freshwater beach I hunted out before. I cleaned out the coins next to the concrete wall with rebar in it. I was able to clearly hear the coins right next to the rebar and it would pop up on the 2D screen. I...
