    Repairing coil cable?

    Hi All, I am looking for some advice regarding repairing the outer cable for my Excal 1000. If you have a look at the attached picture you will see my problem. Is it repairable or will it need to go back to Minelab? I would appreciate your comments. Thank you Dave :ukflag:

    Three more "keepers" with my Excalibur:cool:

    Had couple of weeks holiday at the beach at the end of of August and managed to add another 3 rings to my collection. Small childs ring is 9 carat, 2nd gold ring looks like it has been very crudely made and the chunky silver ring is stamped 925. Happy hunting:detecting: Dave:ukflag:

    2nd Gold with the Excalibur
