    Quick Hunt at an Old Site

    I hadn't been back to the old school site for some time. Most of the ground was graded when I first started detecting the site, but he filled most of it since then. When he graded the lot, he pushed most of the dirt towards the swamp. I had an hour so I decided to detect this area on a hunch...

    help with a ring

    Round 2 of 2010.

    Went back to the old school house. Got to meet the owner who is renovating the house. Nice guy, we got to chat for a bout 10 minutes or so. He was just checking if he can do any more work on the house (he couldn't because it is so muddy there). He showed me where the old sidewalk was that he dug...

    First time out in 2010

    First time out in 2010. Found some non-snowy ground at a house site that was converted from an old school house. The school has been around sinch the late 1800s, the new house was built in 1920 and was converted to a house in 1950. Found a couple nice things, can't wait until the snow melts...
