    garrett pinpointer

    Got a new Garrett pinpointer for Christmas. Just got to use it today and it is amazing. I was able to recover items so much faster than with my previous brand of pinpointer. I found an Asian coin of some kind the very first thing.

    beach detecting with Prizm 4

    Has anyone done any detecting with a Prizm 4? I am headed to the beach and need some pointers. I know my detector is supposed to have a water proof coil but does the saltwater harm it?

    Somebody please tell me exactly what notch means!!!! I am obviously new to detecting but am finding quite a few things. Everytime I think I have the detector set properly I start to second guess myself. Thanks
