Nice finds Mikeo. Not sure what part of ohio you're in but i about popped both my shoulders out of socket on the first hole dug yesterday, lol. It's still bone dry here in nw ohio.

Need to clarify information on Garretts

It depends on if you need the waterproofing or not. I found the at pro nose heavy, the apex better balanced but for the money the 400 does a great job. That's what i keep around if someone wants to use, but being it's yellow no one wants to as they think it's a toy.

Xterra Elite compared to Equinox 900

I've been working both the pro and the elite within the past month or so. I am lucky to have very mild soil here in nw ohio. If you are using the xt pro, you are not giving up much at all to the elite. Now, in heavier mineralized soil, that may change and I don't have access to any salt beaches...

Finds with the Xterra Elite on the beach....

Nice finds. I picked up a new elite to go with the xtp and so far with what signals i have compared, i don't see a whole lot of difference. Granted i don't have any beaches here in ohio so i can't comment on that. Also, where i'm at is very mild soil so the single freqs do really well compared...

The New " Garrett Vortex" has been released!

I want to like it. There are a few things i have issue with just from what i know. I don't like that it has no tone options, stuck in 3 or 5 tones. I don't care about the color but the tech is where the rubber meets the road so i'm waiting patiently for these to get into reviewers hands. On the...

    Great hunt today.....

Been watching the grandkids play soccer and i can almost hear the quarters hitting the ground. Silver is getting hard to come by only 11 so far, so i've decided i have to pay for the ibuprofin somehow.

    Great hunt today.....

Nice quarter haul. I hit a small park yesterday and ended up with 25 quarters. Putting my year to date total of 384. Only one dollar coin though. Gonna have to start branching out a little more though to keep pace. Good luck and stay out of my area, lol.

    Recent outing with the XTP..

It is a quarter magnet that's for sure. You can be gawkin off at the sunset and that high tone will slap you back into reality.

(Want to sell) Pinpointers and F75 coils.

Trashfinder, is the lion coil still available for the f75? thanks

    Minelab Musketeer detector…

I had a couple years ago and while it was a deep silver finder, that high screeching tone killed my ears. Overall though i thought it was a solid performer.
