    Gold nugget !

    Slightly off topic here, but i just had to share this with you guys and gals. My buddy goes to Australia every couple of years and spends a week in the outback metal detecting for gold. He couldn't go this year, but one of his buddies hit the mother load. This rock was found in western Australia.

    What kind of shoes do you wear ?

    I'm new at the beach hunting thing. Ive tried an old pair of tennis shoes and socks, they worked fine till they filled up with sand. Then tried a pair of wading shoes (walmart $4.88) didn't like them. What combinations do you guys use. I'm diabetic and have to protect my feet as much as possible.
