    Battery powered gold dredge ?

    Anyone ever attempted to build a battery powered gold dredge? I'd like to build one but am not sure how to go about it, Would like to mainly use it for gold sniping in shallow creeks/rivers. Any input welcome. Thanks, Dale in Santa Cruz, Ca.

    Excal low volume underwater

    A friend of mine is a little hard of hearing and is wondering if there is a way to modify the Excal to accept a light that is activated when the coil detects a signal. I was thinking possibly mounted in the cord of the headphones. Any input would be appreciated, Thanks, Dale in Santa Cruz, Ca.

    West Coast beaches & Beach Hunter ID ?

    Thinking about purchasing a White's Beach Hunter ID for hunting the beaches on the West Coast. I know that the black sands can be killer on the Left Coast. Has White's fixed this problem with the Beach Hunter ID? Thanks for any input, Dale in Santa Cruz, Ca.

    Excal loose knobs

    I have a Minelab Excalibur which have slip on knobs which spin loosely. I have tried to glue the knobs in place with no luck. I have tried locating knobs which are about the same size which have Pem nuts. Has anyone had problems with these knobs? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Dale in...
