    Moving from Hawaii to Florida

    2nd Gold

    Second gold of my (short) MD career found this morning... It's a 5 gram 14k found in the water waist deep. Hunted a well hunted beach for 2 1/2 hours and found the ring after only about 15 minutes, then my only other find for the morning was one clad quarter....

    First Gold!!!

    Spent about 3 hours on Waikiki Beach this morning and found first gold ring (10k wedding band) in knee deep water... It felt pretty good to make my first gold find. Thanks to all for tips & encouragement..

    Waikiki Beach Finds

    This photo shows about six hours worth of hunting on Waikiki Beach. Only found one small silver toe ring (in the water). Hunted both dry sand and in the water with White's Surf PI.. I'm still waiting for what seems like an elusive gold ring to show up!
