    Brass tag

    I found this tag at a site of an old log structure in North Carolina. The text reads: " The PORTAGE AKRON OHIO 523 GRIP". It is 1 7/8" x 1 1/2" x 1/32 thick made of brass. Any ideas of what it is? Thanks in advance Jim

    The Wife found these

    My Wife found these Peace Dollars in NC over the weekend under an old Maple tree. They have only been cleaned with a little dish detergent and a sponge. I was suprised how bright they were. 2nd time she has ever used a detector. We had a great weekend. Jim

    Lead "Artifact"?

    Found this about 8 inches down near an old log structure, hammered lead. Dimensions are 1 1/4 diameter x 3 x 1/8 to 3/16. ????
