    CZ-3D Signal frequent and erratic

    I recently bought a CZ-3D and been very happy with it. However today at the beach it started pinging all over the scale anywhere I set it down. It was working fine for two hours then went nuts. I changed batteries same result. Any ideas? I'm new to this hobby but have used it almost daily...
