    Bottle ID

    While doing a little detecting in the woods today I found these bottles after digging some mason jar lids. Anyone have ideas as to their age or use? No writing that I have seen yet but I have not had a chance to clean them that good.

    1700'S Search Site

    Just got permission to search from what I understand, is a un-searched 1700's home site in northern Virginia south of Harpers Ferry area. Attached is a photo of the house, barn and a well or spring house. Can anyone give any pointers as to how far trash dumps and other key areas would normally...

    Bullet ID

    Found this bullet not too long ago and have been working on my ID skills but I am having a hard time nailing this one down. I bought a set of calipers yesterday and have included a few photos with its measurements. A id for the last photo would be great too. Thanks to all.

    Help w/ID

    Found this a while back and have never been able to ID. The front is marked wit D & M with a shield with arrows over the text. The back has what appears would have been the attachment point. Sorry about the poor pic quality. Any help would be great.

    Button Id's

    Found this button at lunch today. Anyone know its origin? (Union or Confederate or even if its from the civil war era).

    Found these buttons while out on lunch today. Back mark on button with the pineapple? reads BENEDICT AND BURNHAM. The blue ridge button has no back left and the eagle button is a convex one piece. Any ideas on any of these would be great. The coin is a 1907 liberty nickle.
