    1962 penny

    Why are 1962 pennies so hard to find.. I've gone through 3000 pennies today and found only one 1962 penny.. Separating out the old pennies from the new ones to take to the bank.. "?" :shrug:

    MXT detector

    I use the Mxt here in Grand Cayman and it has the stock 950 coil on it. I use it and it works great for me. It goes deep. I have dug rings at almost 12 inches, and bigger trash even deeper. Although it can be chattery at times. I have used this same detector at Flagler beach and it worked great...

    Gold in them hills...

    Other than placing your MXT on prospecting, are there any secrets to dectecting gold? You've shared with me other ways in finding coins, no jewelry yet, but was wondering how to find gold with this detector? Thanks for any input! Cliff

    MXT/ trigger

    On one of the statements that Captain Hook made; I have noticed that many MXT users search for coins in the relic mode with the trigger locked forward. I think I also read that many lock the ground balance. I did not lock the ground balance last time out. I will try some new setup's next time...
