    Delta 4000

Just ordered the Delta 4000 from Kellyco yesterday. After researching various types of detectors in that price range I found the reviews to be a consistent 5 other than a connection issue. Just looking to see what anyone has found with it and at what depths??? I have been using a Cobra Beach...

    Ace 250 & Beach hunting

I want to thank everyone for the Ace 250 advice, but was wondering if it could be used for the beach? Can you get the coil wet? I like to beach hunt as well, but the Bounty Hunter I have does not like the beach at all and constantly gives false signals.

    Ace 250?

I am looking to upgrade to a decent coin / relic detector. I currently have an Bounty Hunter Pioneer EX that does so so. I have read several people use the Garret Ace 250 for parks / land. Does the Ace 250 have an option for headphones? What about Whites Classic 5id? All advice is appreciated.

    Help with value.

I went to the beach today and found about $1.00 in change and an odd foreign coin. After further research on the internet I have identified it as a 1942 Japan 100 yen nickel. Does anyone know what it may be worth? It has a small hole in it as if it was worn as a charm on a necklace; otherwise it...

    Cleaning coins / jewelry?

I have heard of using vinegar and salt, hydrogen peroxide, a tumbler and vibrator/tumbler with resin chips. I ordered a vibrator/tumbler from harbor freight just to find out it is on back order for another month and a half. Would I be able to use it to clean jewelry as well or is it strictly...

    Rigged Beach Scoop

I was out on hunt at a secluded beach and a fellow treasure hunter approached me. We started to talked and I explained I have only been been MDing for about 5 months, he stated he has been doing it for 20 + years. He said to hunt other areas within several miles which I would never have thought...

    Today's Beach Finds

Received my refurbished Cobra beach Magnet that I bought for $155.00 from eBay and put her to the test. The weather conditions: 87 degrees and the water was glass, perfect testing grounds considering I have never MDed in water before:clapping:. After getting through the awkwardness of trying to...

Was Wondering - Cobra Beach Magnet

I just purchased a Cobra Beach Magnet used for $155.00 and it is being shipped to me. I see nothing but good things about this machine and see that Kellyco also sells them. Does anyone have one? What finds have you found with it? Have you submersed it as advertised?

    Construction Sites:bounty:

I rented a video on places to metal detect as I am new to it and it made construction sites seem like gold mines (coins, jewelry, and countless other treasures). I found 1 dime and enough evidence to support that the construction workers like Bush beer and may need an intervention. Has anyone...
