Minelab X70 Sample Target ID Chart............

For you Minelab folks, this TID chart is what I glue to the back of my pinpointer to double check signals. It is just a generic guide of the types of targets you may locate. If you would like to download the chart see: http://www.MyEasyPics.com/is.php?i=476764&img=X70Chart2.jpg

Hunting Camp - Lot's of lead..

I though to search some Colorado hunting camps for lost gear, change, keys, knives, glasses etc. The same sort of stuff that I have left behind myself. Went up to a high camp outside of Leadville. There was also some old gold diggings in that area and I got some GREAT target ID's there. Wow...

Best Headphones for X70 (Not the UR30)

Thr recommended Koss UR-30 phones for my X70 seem to be unavailable. I paid one detector online shop almost $70 almost a month ago and haven't heard squat. No product, no calls. Took my $$ though. So I googled. The UR30's. are limited results but all show $49.95 price. The websites though are...

How do you deal with CRS and recording details?

For whatever reason(s) I do have a very hard time recalling certain things. Senior moments, brain farts, CRS syndrome whatever. Seriously I could use some advice about you document your finds. Coils, settings, target IDs etc. My first thought is to bag the item, whatever it is, and note the...

    Colorado Mining Country

I am so fortunate to live in such a beautiful area. Like fishing or hunting, it's the search I savor. Taking a break to view this Country of ours still takes my breath away. Not bragging, just sharing. Bob in Colorado

    Tool Belt Carries It All............

I have previously used a fishing-sort-of vest for some detecting gear in addition to a tool belt. But now I am also carrying a small folding camp stool and the whole deal had become unmanageable. Here is slightly modified double pouch tool belt. It holds my pinpointer, Lesche tool, EZ-Dig-R...

    7 inches+ Quick Fix

I made a quick fix to lengthen the handle on my army shovel. A pool cue, made to fit the socket of the shovel. It's bolted on and I used black tape only to dress it up. It adds a little over 7 inches to the handle making it much easier for this old guy to dig standing up. Now watch out! Me and...
