    Road construction gives up goodies.....

    Hit street construction in White Cloud, MI. Got an 1866 shield nickel in pretty decent shape, a couple rough indians ( 1894 and ? ) and a rough wheat (?).     Is it just me or does everyone have this problem in road/ sidewalk construction sites???

    Most all of the nickels and pennies I find in construction sites, road or sidewalk, are corroded all to heck. That or one side (or both) has sand and gravel growing right into the coin. Anyone else notice this?? I haven't found to much silver in construction sites ( under roads or sidewalks)...

    Had a blast at a construction site tonight !!

    Took the kids detecting last night..........

    They lasted about 10 minutes and then started playing with some kids next for to the empty lot we were in. Didn't find any silver, but I did get my first Palmolive token.. Good for one free cake of soap when you buy one... I am going to hit that site some more though, there was a hotel there...

    Great morning at the beach!!

    Took the family to the beach at a State Park this morning. got to detect for a little over an hour. Finally found some gold!! I found a 14k mans band. Nice. Also got a 1950 rosie. And add in $3.26 in clad. easilly my best beach haul yet. Hope everyone else is doing well also. HH Dan
