    US BUCKLE

    Us Buckle found in area of Louisiana civil war prison camp, in searching outer surroundings of camp location . I found that camps are within 1/2 ml. And found this , not in good shape but has lead and 3 hooks .Just washed it only .... what would be done to preserve for display with out damage...

    I found this buckle in confederate/union camp in Louisiana . I have little information for ID . It measures 3 1/2inches across, made of heavy brass. And also has a Anchor Symbol stamp on outer edge. Could be Navy or Marine ? If anyone could help? Please e-mail Richard Crawford...
