A little help from the antique ammo guys….

.32 was quite popular and common. I highly suspect that that is what you have there. Revolvers, pocket pistols, and derringers were all available chambered in .32RF.

Can anyone ID this? Old farmers cant….

Best that I can reason, it's a no-slip clevis for working with heavy chain. The user selected link drops into the dip and won't shift when turning the way it would if it were just a round clevis. That way the load centers up by itself after the turn.

    Horseshoe identification

They are heated in an induction furnace before bending and being placed in a press that forges the shoe. That Diamond shoe in the pic is a polo shoe, intended for traction on turf. That's what the "P" means in the stamp. As far as the manufacture date goes, it's really hard to tell. You'd have...

Can you update the X-Terra Pro

Unlike previous versions of Xterras, don't get carried away trying to push the Sensitivity. You gain little, and the machine just gets chattier and less stable. Also, audio rules. The TID is jumpy to say the least, so don't live by the numbers. Lastly..... Enjoy! It's a great little machine for...

NEED some feed back on the X-Terra pro

It works quite well, as does the 15" Nox coil from Coiltek.

V10X coils for XTERRA Pro ??? This is Ridiculous- Minelab not supporting accessory coils for there XTERRA Pro !! It has been months! NO COILS !!

I guess I'm used to waiting. We waited years for more than one 3kHz coil for the older Xterras, and then they came from Coiltek when we finally got them. I can have a lot of patience for newer coils now......we have snow covering everything.

    Only On Amazon.... X-Terra VOYAGER

I'm personally a little cranky over them dishonoring the Xterra line with that crap. It's obviously not anything like a real Xterra.

    FBS Lower Rods

As far as I know, FBS lower shafts won't work. I've only got an Explorer SE, and I can tell you for a fact that the lower shaft from that won't work.

    X-terra 705 still a great machine in 2023

That's awesome, Mike! When all else fails, go back to what you know works.

NEED some feed back on the X-Terra pro

The two have nothing to do with each other. Noise cancel = the machine searches for a channel nearest to the selected frequency that has the least EMI/harmonics that could interfere. Threshold is still user determined on the Xterra Pro.

    Knives

Nice Kukri! I have a smaller one somewhere, but I always wanted one like that. Maybe that will be a future project.

Any dealers have the V10X coils for the Xterra Pros yet?????

How many of you have emailed Minelab directly to voice your desires? I remember when us old Xterra users were desperate for more coils, specifically 3kHz coils, and we bombarded Minelab with emails. It didn't really take that long before they authorized Coiltek to develop the 6" 3kHz Digger, as...

What sort of hunting are you planning to do, Bob? Beaches? Parks & schools? Privately owned permissions? Coins? Relics? Jewelry?

    FWIW.......

Bart @ https://bigboyshobbies.net/ is now showing the V8X coils in stock for $99.

    Knives

A couple of those ball peins I would consider popping the handles off and forging them into tomahawks.

    Knives

That anvil looks to be in pretty good shape overall. What does it weigh? Love the large drift! Over the years I could have used one like that. That's quite a collection of hammers, but really only a couple are what I would consider suitable for working hot steel. Balance is important, and the...

I've run it all the time for over ten years.
