    These are gold with pyrites. .4g with a pyrite cube embedded in it. This below was a pyrite hollow sort of ball inside quartz, I manged to keep this bit intact, the other didn't survive the hammer. It to has gold in it. Another gold with pyrites specimen. They were found several years ago...

    Took these today whilst detecting. First an Australian Stick Mimicking Katydid Aussie Gum Leaf Grasshopper below Tiny beetles feeding on the pollen of a Pepper Bush. You crush the flowers and they smell exactly like black pepper. Guess the beetles like pepper!
