Yes, although I did dig a nickel and a dime. My friend and I were testing to see if there was much activity in this area.

Carbon Fiber Travel or Straight Shaft for Xtreme Sand Scoop?

From what I see, the standard 48” handle is included at no extra charge, so you would only need to pay extra for the travel handle or the longer one piece handle. Looks like a great scoop you are getting ready to get!!

    Couple nice finds yesterday..

I went to a local school and searched around the sports field yesterday. I ended up with 60 quarters and these two silver rings. I wish i had kept count of how many quarters I have found at this school since I first started detecting there a couple years ago, but would guess around at least 400...

    Iffy target yesterday

That is a possible option, but I feel the same as you do about your Manticore…. I have no interest in another detector. I know some hated the original Equinox for one reason or another, but I never had any issues with mine. I also see where others after using the 900 and Manticore later switched...

    Iffy target yesterday

    Iffy target yesterday

If this was meant for me, I am still using my 800. Although I tried a 900 a friend loaned me to try, and I liked it, I saw no need to upgrade yet. The Manticore is too pricy for me.

Working in the water at a Beach with rocky bottom

I detected a local river last summer and used a prospectors pick to recover targets… it worked great!! I was able to get targets out of crevices and pry up rocks easily with it.

Don’t make this (my) mistake with your new Minelab

I have never used my 800 under water and have no plans to, but am using my XTP in the water… no problems yet, but I still have close to two years of warranty left on it…now that one has not been into.. I guess it is possible that the water did not get by the O ring(s), but entered from another...
