    Need cable

Anybody know a source for the cable that Detector Pro uses on their headphones? It's 3 conductor, unshielded, and 4mm +/- on the OD. I bought a Z-Link, and want to make up a short cable to hook the receiver to my DP Nugget Busters. The NB's have a mini XLR jack. I hate to cut up the Nugget...

Whites 9 1/2" coil for DFX and others

9 1/2" coil; that came with my DFX. Never used. I don't think it's V-rated.....probably predates that. Says "Wide Band", and "Multi Harmonic" on it. $100 shipped CONUS. Jim [attachment 343800 P4090034.JPG][attachment 343801 P4090033.JPG]

Book "Where to Find Gold in Southern California"

I doubt I'll ever be prospecting in SoCal, so against my better judgement I'm going to sell this book on all the old gold discoveries down there. The author is James Klein. The book includes articles and pics of the gold mining at Newhall-Saugus; Acton; Frazier Mountain-Piru Creek; Lytle Ck...

Nearly new OLD Keene dry washer

]My buddy and I bought this dry washer back in the late '70's. It actually got used about 3 hours before we figured out that Idaho wasn't anywhere near dry enough to use one. It's actually been sitting in my shop for 35 years, thereabouts. I'm tired of it getting in my way. I'm heading to...

RnB hp 2900 and 3100 difference..owners of both please help...

That's a .2 amphour difference. If the V draws .2 amps, you would get an hour more of use. If the V draws .1 amps, you would get 2 hours more. I have no idea how manyamps the V draws. That data may be on the label? Jim

Looking for nugget-hunting partner Southeast Idaho

I've located an old gold placer in SW Montana. It's a 10 mile trip on a 4-wheeler to get in there. That's too far to go alone, so I'm looking for another gold guy with a 4-wheeler that wants to go. Probably stay at least 1 night, maybe 2. I've got a 3/4 ton 4 x4 with a flatbed, so hauling them...

    RnB HP-3100 Lithium-ion 12v Battery

Yup...in my GMT that pack is the nuts. 8 hours of use in the last 3 days, and the battery condition indicator still shows 100%. Supposed to get near 70 hours....not bad...LOL. Jim

    Lamproite? Rhyolite? Need ID help

Found a 10" hunk of this in northern Nevada last weekend. This piece is about 3" x 5". Very unusual rock for that area. Has a distinct greenish cast. That country is mostly either rhyolite, or basalt lava, and dark brown to reddish brown. I didn't have time to do any further looking...

    homebuilt 12v vibratory classifier video

I've been meaning to get this done for 2 or 3 weeks, but just keep getting sidetracked, so I thought I'd do it first thing this morning. One of the things, in my gem prospecting, I've learned to hate is shaking screens to classify my material before running it through the jig. I decided I needed...

Poratable mineral jig plans for sale

I finally got the plans done for the mineral jig. The unit comes in under 20lbs, with pump and motor. The main unit, minus the motor, axle, and other steel items, and a couple pieces of Delrin (acetal) can be built completely from 4" ABS pipe. 1 10' length is about $27.00 at Home Depot. A drill...

    Diamond indicator minerals

I've been doing quite a bit of diamond prospecting In Wyoming the last 3 years. Still haven't found diamonds, but feel like I'm getting close. The pic with the penny is my largest hunk of chrome diopside. The gray material is the kimberlite matrix it came out of. That matrix, still being...
