    How do you stop digging foil

    I mean,do I not dig midtones at all?I went out yesterday and dug all solid midtones, and most were pieces of small foil,not even wadded up,kinda flat.I think its a hell of a coin machine in trash or clean areas,not so much on gold.I'd hate to pass all midtones just to avoid foil.

    I had a etrac for awhile,and I can honestly say I much prefer the explorer.I just prefer the numbers,the screen,and it feels better balanced,at least lighter.The etrac was and is a great machine,but not as good for me as the explorer.     I had one with a sharpshooter,and it was alot of fun,and sure hit on nickel and gold hard for a low frequency machine.     Coils

    I have a 6x8 sef,really don't use small coils but figured I should keep it just in case. I like the stock pro coil on the etrac,I was looking at nel tornado,ultimate,and 10x12 sef,but I really don't think I'd be gaining that much over the stock pro coil.Am I wrong?

    Etrac questions

    According to tracking,my etrac will be here tomorrow. I bought it used,and he didn't have the owner manual.I've used a explorer se pro,so I hope it's similar. Once I set the etrac up,and useit and shut it off,the next time I start it up will it be ready to go,retain all settings?
