    If I'm not mistaken Tom Dankowski upgraded a Fisher 1266 years ago.. He mentioned adding additional Batteries + other and it having lots more depth.

The X is a very good detector in open fields..opened up it is extremely deep & being fast in iron is another plus with this detector My question is.. there was a trick with the threshold/gain setting that...

    In my ground Multi field 2 has showed to be the deepest..pulled lead several times with hole being couple inches deeper than pp.

    I also feel with my hearing,the Legend's solid tones have increased my finds compaired to the Eq's flutie tones I had trouble with in the past..all models mentioned above are excellent machines..joe

    I've owned two of the other brand..so far My time with the Legend shows better build quality,better tones, handle/angle feels better,balance is nice..also in my ground the depth,ID etc.is as good or better.. But the best is the communication/interaction with their consumers..it's top notch..hh. joe
