    M1, M2, M3 what's the difference between them

i save all the modern coinage up till the end of the year , saved in a big tin. I cash in £300 to £500 per year , i sold some gold rings to the pawn shop and got £200 last year. It's a case of trying to get some money back from the detectors that cost a lot. I am out every day detecting and...

    M1, M2, M3 what's the difference between them

Micro jewelry is not my cup of tea. All i do is dig the nasty foil while trying for tiny jewels , i skip that anyday , i go for thicker mens rings , the payoffs are better.

Have you ever had hostility from people while You Detect.

Maybe i have been watching too many you tube video's of police aggression , is it true 2000 citizens are shot dead by police in USA every 2 years or so. That just has to be worrying to think about.

    Minelab Manticore

Yes it's hard to imagine who would want to buy the x-terra pro , like you say it's not too far short of the price of a nox. Nothing wrong with single frequency inland , multi frequency is over rated for inland searching anyway IMHO.

I found an old bird at the park.

Guessing this is around 100 years old give or take. Some one's mantlepiece ornament from long ago.

D2 Coil Battery Going Flat Fast

How long does the D2 coil battery last when not in use. I have noticed the coil needs re charging more often the the D1 Coils did . I think the coil even when not in use discharges the battery faster than the D1 ever did.

    Minelab Manticore

I think your right . They are holding manticores back to keep the demand for manticore sales up. So those that get bored of waiting will go buy a 900 ! . The 900 is by far the best value though with that 6 inch coil included. and 99% as deep as manticore and just as fast. I will tell you guys...

    Legend My First Silver Hit

Thanks , it's my first ring in 7 months. I got 2 Nice Gold Mens Rings last year. Ring Drought over i hope.

    Legend My First Silver Hit

I went to a swimming lake to detect around the edges of the lake and switched the legend on , found this ring with the first sweep. 925 silver stamped inside. This is my first silver find since buying the legend 7 months ago.

    New smf detectors

You hit the nail on the head , here in the UK there is a waiting list of over a thousand people for the Manticore , the buyers are looking for a slight edge in performance , the buyers will be for the most part Metal Detecting Club Members , fierce and intense need for more depth over the the...

Doubts over Manticore 50% extra power.

People A metal detector designer i once spoke to told me exactly the same , his words were , you can only get extra power into the ground where the ground will accept the extra power. Nothing new is likely to come with VLF that will give any substantial increased depth.

    TESTING ALL LEGEND COILS V1.10

Paystreak already owns , 70 coils , 22 Pinpoint Probes , 25 Metal Detectors and fifteen sets of headphones , 5 diggers, 4 carry bags ,and about 20 go pro battery's. How come he has not gone bankrupt is really just amazing. :lmfao::lol: Plus he travels 100 miles to totlots  10 hours...

    TESTING ALL LEGEND COILS V1.10

If i was betting my money i would bet that the 6 x 9 will have the edge on depth by a small margin. I have been watching paystreaks video's using the 6 x 9 and the coil seems to be excellent. is it really worth paying £160 for it though, i don't think so. It is far less likely to miss coins or...

    legend power output

Eventually in many years from now most detectors will move away from VLF as we know it. I am guessing imaging systems will show what is under ground. I think pulse induction will be become more advanced too. The ultimate in discrimination is to see with your eyes what the target looks like...

Minelab has responded to the 50% more power mystery.

I have read the book. Most Metal Detector users won't understand most of what's in the book , i think the authors are both incredibly clever Electronics Engineers. They both can fix metal detectors that other engineers don't have a clue how to fix. Most of the read though sent me to sleep...

It takes a long long while yes. ages.

    Legend External Battery Charging

i have red and green alternating led's when i charge my external nokta battery pack. My question is how do i know when the battery is fully charged.

Minelab has responded to the 50% more power mystery.

Some one please tell me where all the power is going though. What is consuming this extra power.

Is Metal Detecting on the Decline?

Well i can say for sure when i have put second hand detectors up for sale over the last year there are far fewer interested buyers compared to what they used to be. I find most places i go detecting to are extremely hard work because of the army of detector users over the last 50 years that...
