    getting used to my new 3D

    Finding plenty of clad along with a wheat and a Chinese coin in an old town near the bandstand,,,,,,,, the sounds are starting to make sense to me,,, just always wondering if the iron grunts are a nail NEXT to a coin,,,,

    On the whole , would you consider the CZ3D a bit chatty,,,

    Say it's set up right and GB'ed correctly. would you say very quite,,, or a little noisy is normal. ? I have only my Tesoro Silver uMax to compare it to and it is dead silent until you hit a target....

    vents and over heating the CZ3D

    I want to build a carry case to hip mount my 3d,,,,,I will never need the speaker so I was not going to cut slits in the plastic case for that,,, I see no other vent holes on the unit. Is there any? If I enclose all but the top of the control box will it over heat? Thanks

    Help with wiring coil plug,,,HELP

    I see why I was not happy with my new cz3d,,,, the plug to the coil was messed up,,,, now I need to re do it. Can anyone tell me what wires go to what pins ???? thanks

    FS Tesoro 10x12 concentric coil,,, $80.00 shipped

    Coil has been covered with truck bed liner and is in great shape, 5 pin uMax,,, used it on my Silver uMax and it went pretty deep but got another detector for deep coins and can't seem to take the 3x18 off my Silver !!!! paypal preffered USPS priority mail

    Hey All,,, working on a deal on a used CZ3D (1021) and should have it in a couple weeks. Will be reading all I can about it until then. Currently using a Tesoro Silver uMax, my first MD, and have had great success with it. Actually found a large 14k gold bangle worth about 475 melt value with it...

    a 1021 three years old for around 500 bucks,,,, what do ya think? hunting in northern California for old silver and jewelry,,, was saving for an Etrac but thught this might be a good holdover machine untill I hit the big time,,,, I run a Tesoro Silver now
