    Buying a new truck

Harbor Freight has 2 different transmission jacks. I used one on my daughters Jeep to change the clutch. Bit of a pain, had to drop exhaust cross pipe and cross member of the frame. Only took 2 days for the entire job. Clutch and plate was maybe $125.

Been looking at maps of Missouri for gold dust left by the glaciers in northwestern Missouri. Anyone know much about it?

I’m in Middleton just west of Boise about 25 minutes from the Oregon state line.

Can’t be of help with Missouri, but if you make it out to Idaho we can take my Gold Hog sluice and some pans out for some color.

Finally was able to pick up a coil I have been searing for Garrett 24K

The 4x6 coil on the MXT and MX5 was hard to beat on small jewelry. I found a 1.7 gr. 10k Girls ring at 6-7“ with a hard hitting tone with a shooter coil on the MX5. I think you may be surprised how good the shooter coil will be on the 24k.

why no quest sub forum ????

Wondering about the Axiom in the gold fields? I’m about to find out!

Just wait until the after market coils start hitting the market. There’s plenty of guys that are saving and selling off older detector in order to get an Axiom.

Check the wiring on the coil connector, corrosion could be the issue

    Minelab Equinox 900 vs Legend

I’ve had both the 800 and the Legend. so much prefer the Legend that the 800 gone. So the 900 has some feature improvements over the 800, I doubt there’s that much difference to justify the price difference like Sprchng suggested. Personally, I’d add more coils to the Legend and still be less...

Well if I’m only going to find one coin…..

Those are always a shock to find. I found a 1906 I think it was under a pecan tree in a friends yard In Summerville SC. His home was built in 2002 but the old pecan trees had been there for a very long time. Made my day and I’m sure that one made yours.

    Which Simplex to use

If you are wading in the water the 9.5 may be easier to use in the surf. Rough wave action can be tough with a larger coil. I have not used either coil on the simplex but have used both sizes on the Whites MXT and MX5. I doubt you will notice much depth difference on the wet or dry sand. Heck...

    New smf detectors

Wait and see what users have to say soon. I have a Deteknix PI pin pointer that has been good to me for many years. I’m going to keep an eye on this one.

Whites tdi depth while prospecting for gold

There’s some pretty good videos on you tube about coil building. PI mono coils are simpler to make than VLF and DDs. Coil housings can be had from a few sources. I’ve even watched videos on vacuum forming and considering try to make my own. Here’s a couple size charts I have come across.
