    Old Garrett ADS II versus Ace 250

    Hi all, I've been metal detecting a long time since I bought a Garrett ADS II (1982). I think it is a great GEB detector, but it is getting heavy to swing, 6ea 9v batteries. I wonder if the new ACE 250 would out do the old ADS II? I know some of the features like manual GB is not on the ACE...
