Just clad today and a visit with the police.

I had a concerned citizen tell me that I shouldn’t be detecting at an abandoned school.I asked them to write down their mailing address so I could have my property tax notices sent to them. They left in a huff…

    Today with the F75

I do mostly relic hunting but still manage to find a few coins. The trick is to watch for bouncing or rising vdi’s which indicate a deep or small non ferrous target.I usually watch for 10+.

    Today with the F75

For some reason when the F75 is in any other setting than one tone anything past a discrimination setting of six automatically shifts to a setting of fifteen.Personally,I ground grab, sensitivity @ 88,one tone, disc @ 5,Tornado coil.Maybe it’s the hot soil but I use what we call the “Sovereign “...

Anyone here have experience in comparison with Fisher F75?

A properly set up F-75 is hard to beat.I have two .54 Minnie’s and a clad quarter buried @ 8 inches and my F75 with a Tornado coil is the only detector that I’ve been able to get diggable responses from.AT Max,MultiKruzer,Nox 600,and a couple of others give little to no response.

    Relics and F75

Google Dankowski/F-75.I run one tone @ 6 disc 88 sensitivity and can’t tell much difference between that and all metal other than less noise. In all other modes the disc automatically starts at 15.

It's refreshing to see more well rounded reviews.

I’m waiting for Joe Namath or JJ to endorse this revolutionary detector. In all seriousness for my type of hunting if I was going to spend that much money I would spring for a GPX..But then again, this is a hobby and you can invest what makes you happy.I still remember when a lot of newbies...

    My thoughts on Detectors lately

Y’all can do all of the comparisons, masking demonstrations and show how machine X is better than machine Y but what it all comes down to is simply”If it ain’t there you aren’t gonna find it”.

What are property marker made of

Turn the sensitivity down and swing about six inches above the ground.Look for strong signals, probe with a large screwdriver…

    Brief rant

I think a lot of newbies are shocked when they learn how physically exhausting this hobby can be.After a few fruitless outings many newly purchased detectors end up stuck in a closet…

    Deus ll question ?

I don’t know if the Deus II is some kind of super detector or not but when there’s only one cheerleader it kind of reminds me of the traveling medicine shows of days gone by selling miracle cures..Saying everything else is crap only adds to my skepticism.

    Which pin pointer

Several provide the ability to detune by turning the pointer off and then back on while holding it close to the target,I know that the original propointer & II do…
