    problem with hunt

    Was hunting an area where there were tailings all over the place. Big area near a big creek. It seemed the ground was like shield. My detector was not able to pick up anything. The iron was not so bad but the tones were all jumpy and would not lock in....I tried everything ever all metal then...

    First time out in a few weeks

    We have been hit with rain all fall and winter long...the earth is so wet and now the grass is getting almost to high to hunt in...Did get a nice hit after being smacked my iron for most of the hunt. The iron dust and flakes are just swimming in the wet dirt.

    Deus hunt

    So went back to the button area, with the ground this wet it makes the targets more iffy sounding. Found this one button in hard clay it felt like cement and was almost impossible to pry lose still have it soaking in water.
