Any news on a new Fisher detector

The first one besides the impulse AQ, will be the single frequency wireless machine (aimed at simplex I’m guessing) set to release by end of year last I heard. Supposedly has been being field tested. This all coming from a video released a few weeks back, someone named Russ from FT I believe.

    Mi6 pin pointer sensitivity

I’ve noticed the Mi6 doesn’t have near the “depth” as the fpulse/Tek point. I still really like it paired to ws5.

    5000 BC Copper Celt

I would say along any major waterway or coast has opportunities for finds with that age. Native Americans were said to originate after last ice age, so 10k years ago? I know my dad was extensive in his knowledge of Indians around iowa, some of his finds were estimated he thought 4,000+ yrs by...

Random site choice= Pistol 6 pack

I found examples in my book. They measure .50 or .52 I can’t remember, and labeled as “picket style for country rifle”.

AU code on Equinox 600 when I noise cancel

Hope you had a good time down here in lower alabama. It’s a great place.

    I’ve been away ... V4 upgrade to 5.2?

Does 5.2 have any known issue while using the LF coils?

    Civil War or Later...?

The eagle appears to be holding a hatchet. Really need to see the back. I think you got a good find there.

Is the simplex spanking these other machines in these tests?

I run my simplex 2.78 wide open all the time, and swinging fast. This works best in mild soil with moderate trash. You have to be fast with the simplex or it will not get near as deep in the park modes. Likes a brisk sweep in field though too. I tested it out over several hours in a good little...

    You nailed it. Thanks!

Ahh, Spring has come. Good start anyway

I will be making a comparison video in my test garden with the MDT, the NOX 800, DEUS, and Simplex in the coming weeks. The MDT I’m using has both coils so it will be a showdown. I also have a sort of “buried 3D nail board” using different aluminum trash at different depths to try for an ID test.

    A unique button....

Pulled this with the DEUS today. Anyone familiar with that design? The only back mark I see is a “B”. The shape of the solder patch for the shank appears to be good and old design.

Random site choice= Pistol 6 pack

I randomly chose a low lying patch of woods in the inner city. Not promising by any means other that it’s close to the cities’ intermediate line of works. It’s surrounded by modern modern modern. I cracked into this spot with the simplex and sp24 expecting nothing. It looked as if cans would be...

    Finally

I feel ya. I’ve been branching out into other spots searching for unknown hotspots. So far it’s slim. Good for you.
