Equinox 600 provides my oldest coin

Correction on the date. Is 1823.

Equinox 600 provides my oldest coin

They probably did. It’s just extremely busy right there. And a TON of ambient noise. A main artery runs only a few yards away.

    Equinox 600 urban relic hunt

The flat button ended up being an 1813 Swiss 1/2 bazen.

Equinox 600 provides my oldest coin

Got out with my 2nd equinox 600 for the first time after selling off my last one. Hit a spot where my partner got a 1816 8 Reales and got this little crispin. Solid 18 amongst moderate heavy iron. Only a few feet from the plug of the Reale. Been over it and missed a few times with DEUS and...

Nel Sharpshooter coil for Teknetics T2

That link shows nothing for the t2. T2 coils do not interchange. However, you can use a Greek series NEL coil like the one you linked, on a f70 or f75 and it does work ok. Nothing will work on the t2 except t2 coils. The 8500 will use anything as the other machines you listed. And including...

    Sensitivity

I might try switching from park 1 to park 2. If it’s still too busy then I’d try backing off 1 bar. With the stock coil, park 2 still gets ok depth and seems to be less reactive in dense target areas. If what your hearing is EMI ( does not stop when the coil is still) then try frequency shift...

    NEL tornado coil-F75LTD

In mild soil, the stock coil will hang with any other popular model of detector as far as depth and separation. It’s pretty amazing really. I’m thinking a nel sharpshooter would be quite awesome. On the patriot(f70) it was a laser and extremely deep for its size. I could get it to hit a 10”...

    Some kind of plug

Excellent. That is a good example. It’s hard to find one with this piece removed.

    Some kind of plug

Was yours found amongst other items from the early-mid 1800s?

    Some kind of plug

Appears to be zinc or pewter. Has that layered gray colors and flaking apart. I’m not a plumber or a marine guy but I’m thinking is more along the lines of a keg plug or perhaps a drain for a cistern. There are homes down here from pre war that have above ground rain collection from gutters...

I know I know! Give me a break man! It was incredible to see!! 😆

    Some kind of plug

It’s either zinc or pewter. Has a leather seal at the bottom. Handle appears to have been beaten on pretty good. Found with some early flat buttons, an 8 Reale , and some other old bits.
