Got a '36 Merc and some kind of small copper that I thought was a button till I got home and had a chance to look at it. Also got a very corroded coin that is probably a Indian head. Also got a...

    Headphone Question

I bought the Sun Ray Pro-Gold's when I bought my CTX. I like the way they sound and are fairly comfortable. My only issue is sometimes when standing up from a dig or when wearing my rain coat hood one of the switches get bumped and everything goes silent. Has happened to me a couple times per...

    ID This Button?

My buddy Randy found this on Sunday out in a field. We've all found a lot of colonial buttons in this field. It's a one piece and appears to be a Naval button of some kind. It is dented from the back like it was hit with something. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe

Did get 5 nice buttons in the short time I was there. Had just got into a new part of the field that hasn't been hunted and...

My son is in basic training at Fort Jackson and graduates this week. We're going down and will be there for a couple days. Thinking about bringing the detector with me. Lots of parks in the area. I understand some are off limits to detecting but some are from what I can gather from the internet...
