    Broken Coil

    Didn’t someone come up with a fix for broken coil ears? My buddy has two coils that are broken. I might be thinking of a different detector. Seems to me it was plastic and wrapped around the bottom of the coil and attached to the mounting bolt. Any ideas?

    Minelab BBS 10" Coil

    The coil is off of an Excalibur but I put a Sovereign connector on it so it can be used. I repaired the coil ears where the rod attaches. They were worn in from not changing the washers,(previous owner). Like new now. Coil cover included. Will cover shipping. $75.00 Money order only please.

    So I just got done with an Excal that I did quite a bit of work on. I took off the stock 10" coil and put on a 12x10sef. I had an extra Sovereign connector so I put that on it so I could possibly sell it. I did the same to an 8" a couple years ago. Hate to have something just laying around that...
