    You might try restarting the XP when you hit EMI. Aim the bottom of the coil at the EMI source. They say normally at start up to hold it three feet off the ground while it sets itself. I had it about a foot off the ground parallel with the ground (EMI was some buried wires). Worked for me where...

    You can't save parameters on any of the 10 pre-set programs. You have to save the program to one of the custom slots.

    You can't believe everything you read on the internet. That is outdated. The LF coils work great with V5.21. There was some issues with the earlier versions and I expect that was about the time he made the rant.

    Agree. Also don't mess with the Reacitivity too much at first. I normally use "2" or "2.5". Learn the wiggle for pinpointing--wiggle and pull coil back to you. When sound stops the target is under the Logo at the coil tip. This is a fast way to pinpoint. Don't do heavy trash area for a while...

    Should be able to assuming you are using old coil. Don't think X35 coil will work. Not sure about HF coils
