    AT PRO's back in action.....:super:

    I got my AT PRO back Tuesday with the up grades and decided to try it out today since it was a little cooler around here. Only had about an hour and a half to hunt, so I went to a local school grounds( built in the 50's). After digging about a dozen clads I got a solid Quarter reading at 10...

    Just recieved my AT PRO back from Garrett for the up grade...

    Just about 2 week turn around and a free digging trowel in the box. I can't wait until Sunday to hit the water with it. Haven't dug much gold this seasonso far, maybe the Pro will trun my luck around!!!

    The only good find of the day.....

    Was a picture of the sunrise, which didn't last long when my Newly replaced water camera LEAK!!! only 3 days old and it's the newer version (Pentax WG1). Shipping it back tomorrow.

    My latest AT PRO modifications.......

    Had some time on my hands and a White's PRL detector laying around my work shop, SO I decided to improvised. Took the box off the White's and mounted the AT PRO on the "S" rod. I made the stand from PVC and it can be taken off when water detecting. Added the foam for flotation and some tape...

    Took the PRO in the water for the first time....:confused:

    Went to the beach to try it in the water. At first it went CRAZY!! after tuning it down I got to where I could use it in the water. SENS was set at 2 bars and could not ground balance. Anyway I found some stuff and was OK with it. NOW I get home( hour drive back) I turn it on just to check it...

    Todays short hunt..

    Didn't get a whole lot, but the PRO managed to get a BIG 69 Cal. Mini Ball, couple suspender buckles, couple grommets, lead bale seal, an odd looking horse shoe, and some what-zits.

    AT PRO stricks gold in the woods!!:thumbup:

    I intended to do some colonial hunting in the woods, but found a 1964 High School ring instead( I'll Take It!!). Other then the pouring down rain and the ring, I ended the day with a 1945 D Wheatie. I will update when or if I can locate the owner of the ring.

    Went out for about 1 1/2 hours after work. All I did was cherry pick deepppppp targets. Most of the coins are from the 70's and 80's and 2 dimes were 1966!!! I did manage 2 wheaties (1953, 55), Buffalo ( no date), 1 SMALL piece of jewelry with an Indian in side, and some king of coin or token...

I hit a spot that I have pounded with every detector I own and still found 3 nickels(1944P, 1948, 1959) and a 1946 wheatie. I only dug deep signals...
