Tried the 5 X 8 coil on the AT PRO today for the first time.....

Decided to go to a foundation that we've hunted for years and try the small coil in the iron infested area around it. I'm a HAPPY CAMPER with this coil. Took it really slow to seperate targets and here's my finds( note last two outing to this spot I found NOTHING). Todays finds were a 1883...

    AT PRO was HOT!! today:thumbup:

I've been on a 3 day Relic hunt...

Boy, what a great time. Here are my finds for the 3 days. I must admit that I only used the AT GOLD for one of those days and it did just as good as my other detector, but it SHINED when the rain set in and I did not have to worry about the weather like all the other hunters. OH YEA!!!

Tired of bending over to dig up those nasty nails? try this

Installed a magnet in the tip of my shovel handle. Now all I got to do is dig the plug and find the iron target and snap!! to the magnet it goes. Strong enough to pick up a piece of shell frag with no problem.

Took the AT GOLD for a Relic hunt.....

While the AT Pro is in the shop, I figured I'd take the GOLD relic hunting. Got a nice Eagle "I" cuff button along with some bullets and a couple other General Eagle buttons. Some of the targets were deep, but the Gold sounded off nicely on them. The length of the pointer plus some 3 to 4 more...

    AT GOLD question....

OK, I've had the AT GOLD for a good while now and have always used the All Metal mode with the Sens. set at MAX. With this setting the threshold is very erratic. but I get max depth. To get the threshold smooth I have to turn the Sens. down about 3 or 4 notches and I feel I'm loosing depth, but...

Well, I guess it was to cold for relics and the AT PRO....

Got out today in 20 degree temps(wind chill around 10). The only find of the day was a 1920 Wheatie then the PRO started acting up again. VDI flashing wild, depth meter maxing out and could not ground balance. Just like before I thought it was the coil and swapped it out with my other one. I...
