    Hitting a 9" dime with such a small coil is a stretch for any Vlf detector. You should be worried more about hitting 9" deep coins with the stock coil.

    RX GAIN question

    You'll likely ne'er see a need to run over level 12 setting. More like 9. Bury a coin and play with your settings, Not much additional depth achieved by going hot. Usually will do more damage by doing.

    MI-6 pinpointer performance when used with round HF coil

    Used the round HF coil today along with MI-6 pointer. Very nice performance noted. No errors noted. Good transition when turning pinpointer off and off. No loss of audio, screen hang ups, or coil linking problems.

    I have not used my MI-6 pinpointer very much at all since receiving. I am so accustomed to my Garret Propointer it is hard for me to try and get used to a new pinpointer and a new detector coil (HF elliptical) at the same time. Anyway today I used the MI-6 this morning on a 1.5 hour hunt...

    Deus Elliptical HF coil strikes silver again (half dime) 10-01-2017

    I know this is probably getting old for folks. A 1.5 hour hunt late this morning. But again in the same site as the Spanish bit, around 30 ft away, and depth of half dime a mere 4" deep. Agan used 28.8 kHz,,signal barely heard but better IMO than the signal on the Spanish bit I found a few days...

    Another hunt this morning. In a hard hunted site. Last silver to come from this side of road for me was a war nickel,,I dug with Nokta Impact using small elliptical when testing it. And the Spanish bit in the pic was dug approx 11"-14" from where I dug this war nickel back ealier in the year...

    Seven hour hunt today in the rain. Pole only with remote in pocket. Used both HF coils. All nonferrous in pic. About 50/50 split time wise. Hunted 2 areas loaded with iron and nails using both coils,,,these areas pounded with Deus both 9" and 11" LF coils previously, Nokta relic smallest coil...
