    Im not sure what your talking about! I dont know of any dealers offhand, that are taking orders on the Manticore without a deposit, but Im sure there are some. But this thread is about the Legend, so Im not sure what this has to do with the Legend??

    In all fairness, it will probably take a while for Nokta to re-write another program and issue another firmware update, if they feel the need to do so at all.

    I too hunt a lot in urban area, and I find if I utilize the noise cancel function a few times, its good to go. Ive never considered EMI an issue, and usually run the sensativity somewhere between 18 and 22.

    Last time I counted, the Nokta Legend has had 34 changes since it first came out. I dont ever remember any electronic product, with so many firmware "fix's", and still have a product with issues. Thats legendary.

    For land users, I have seldom heard of an issue with the Nox, besides coil/cuff breakage, and who knows if they were using the Nox as a walking stick??? Even the battery seems to be holding up very well after 5 years.

    My plan is to wait it out, while still sporting my "old" Equinox 800! Once the underwater guys start reporting about its use in the water, I will then pull the trigger, and jump onboard. At this point, Im really looking forward to getting one. Looks like its going to be a winner!

    The entire city I live in has underground coal mines everywhere. I live right next to a entrance that was sealed off in the early 1970's. Its now an empty lot, that butts right up to my property. Exploring is very tempting. I saw a old map of the tunnels, and I was amazed at how many tunnels...

    I dont want to raise your blood pressure, any higher than it already is, so I will not post a link to the video.... But there is a new video just released yesterday, where she wont say how many units were sold, but she does say that only .01% were returned due to leakage!

    You might consider the Campark V40 action cam. They sell for about 1/3 the price of a GoPro. 4k, solid construction, highly recomended! About sell for about $130 brand new, and come with a bunch of accessories.

    The same guy, did a similar youtube video, comparing the Equinox 800, to the Manticore. Very similar video and similar test proceedures. I believe he owns the largest metal detector shop in France, if I understood his french correctly.

    For those who pre-ordered.... Where did you pre-order from, and why there? Was it simply a shop whom youve dealt with in the past? What made you chose the location? My closest brick and morter retailer is a 2 hour round trip, so Im thinking about ordering one online, and have sooo many choices.

    Is TVA the Tennessee Valley Authority ? I hear that Nokta is working on a small stelth detector that straps to your ankle, and transmits data wirelessly up to headphones. Might look silly swinging a leg while wearing bell bottom blue jeans on a beach however!
